ALL FOR, UH, HEALTH AND UH, IT'S THE WORKING GROUP, UM, UPDATES, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, HEALTH AND WELLNESS DISCUSSION, UH, CONTINUED FROM OUR FEBRUARY MEETING.

AND THIS WAS THE DISCUSSION OF GOAL FIVE OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE, UH, THE 9 0 8 BLOOMFIELD STREET.

WE WILL AGAIN BE MEETING, UH, AND DISCUSSING THAT AND WE CAN DISCUSS IT RIGHT NOW.

WE NEED TO GO BY HERE ON A SATURDAY, WE DID NOT GO IN.

THERE IS FEELING A LOT OF WORK DONE AS FAR AS NOT A WEAK BROOMFIELD SCREEN AS HE'S CONCERNED.

AND MOST OF US ARE NO THROUGH OUT MANY PLANS IT'S BEEN DONE IN THE CITY.

UM, IT SAYS THE USE THERE WOULD BE A HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLINIC AS FOR AN, UH, AS WELL AS A RESOURCE CENTER.

BUT, UM, WE DO UNDERSTAND THAT THERE WAS A FIELD ASSESSMENT AND ARCHITECTURAL ASPHALT ASSESSMENT OR REPORT DONE BY A WALKER WHO IS A LOCAL ARCHITECT, UH, THE, UH, CONDITION AND THAT REPORT, UH, WE SEND IT TO YOU, COMMISSIONER LOVE IT, UH, HAS FOR ALL THE COMMISSION AND PROBABLY DON'T HAVE TIME TO, UH, DISCUSS IT, UH, TO NOT CAUSE YOU HAVEN'T HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK AT IT, BUT IT IS PRETTY, UM, IN, IN DEPTH, IF YOU COULD TAKE HER JUST A FEW MINUTES AND TALK JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT BEING, UH, AT THAT WE WERE PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE THE PERMISSION, MR. AT THE TIME WE DECIDED LET'S PUT EVERYTHING IN THE PLAN THAT COULD BE DONE TO THAT BUILDING TO IMPROVE IT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE, UM, GRANT FUNDING FOR IT, UNDERSTANDING THAT NOT ALL THE THINGS THAT WERE INCLUDED IN THE ASSESSMENT WOULD NECESSARILY HAVE TO BE DONE, OR IT COULD BE DONE.

BUT I WILL SAY THIS, THE PRIMARY THAT NEED TO BE DONE ARE BUILDING ACCESSIBILITY.

THIS WAS FORMALLY A RESIDENCE.

AND SO IT HAS, UM, TWO RESIDENTIAL STYLE BATHROOMS AND ONE KIND OF, UM, ADDED LATER BATHROOM.

NONE OF THE BATHROOMS IN THE HOUSE ARE ASSESSABLE.

AND SINCE THE CITY OWNS THE PROPERTY AND WOULD BE USING IT TO SERVE THE PUBLIC, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE RESTROOMS WOULD NEED TO BE ACCESSIBLE.

UM, THERE WOULD NEED TO BE ACCESSIBLE, UM, WAY INTO THE PROPERTY RIGHT NOW THAT IS AT TWO LEVELS.

YOU MAY ENTER THE HOME WAS THE GARAGE, AND THAT IS THE ONLY AREA THAT IS ON GRADE.

THE REST OF IT IS ACCESSED BY STAIRS.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT, UM, LEVELS INSIDE THE HOUSE.

OUR FIELD ASSESSMENT DID PUT A PRICE ON IF WE REPLACED ALL THE WINDOWS IN THE BUILDING, MOST OF THE WINDOWS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT WE DID LOOK TOO.

PART OF OUR INITIATIVE IS TO BRING ALL THE STRUCTURES THAT WE ARE WORKING ON IN OUR REDEVELOPMENT AREA UP TO ENERGY STANDARDS.

SO THAT WOULD REQUIRE REPLACING THE WINDOWS, UM, REPLACING THE DOORS, BUT FOR THE BUILDINGS TO BE OCCUPIED, THAT WOULD NOT NECESSARILY HAVE TO HAPPEN.

IT'S REALLY JUST THE ACCESSIBILITY SOMEWHAT WORK, UM, TO MAKE AN ACCESSIBLE PARKING AREA.

UM, SO, AND THEN WE PUT TOGETHER THAT REPORT OF EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

AND THAT IS WHERE THE COST ESTIMATE THAT CAME OUT FROM LAST TIME.

AND I KNOW THERE WAS SOME DISCUSSION IN OUR LAST MEETING OF, IT WAS A LOT OF MONEY THAT, YOU KNOW, THAT IT WAS GOING TO TRY TO MAKE THE BUILDING TOO FANCY.

I BELIEVE, UM, TAJ MAHAL WAS USED, AND THAT IS UNFORTUNATELY NOT THE CASE.

UM, WITH BUILDING CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, THE PRICE THEY ARE RIGHT NOW.

I DON'T THINK THAT EVERY, UM, THING IN THE COST ESTIMATE NEEDS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED, BUT, UM, A GOOD DEAL OF THE DOES TO BE OCCUPIED BY THE PUBLIC.

AND I WANT TO SAY TO, TO, TO, TO MAKE THIS CLEAR, THIS WAS DONE IN SEPTEMBER OR 2021 AND WE ARE, UH, JUST RECEIVING IT, THE FULL BOARD.

SO, UM, IT WILL BE UPLOADED AS PART OF OUR, OUR PACKET ON THE WEBSITES FOR ANYBODY TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT ON THE, UM, ON THE, ON THE WEBSITE.

YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE THAT, BUT, UM, MARGARET, UM, HE HAS ABOUT ABOUT THREE OR FOUR AND THEN, UM, HAD SOME MEETINGS WITH SORT OF ADD SOME LETTERS OF INTENT.

SO THAT COULD BE A MATCH TOWARDS GETTING, CAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE THAT ESTIMATES ABOUT 450.

SO, UM, THAT CERTAINLY COULD BE THE MATCH TOWARDS THAT, BUT WE, WE DID GET, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO ADD TO THAT I'M ALDERMAN, PASTOR ALDERMAN HERE, WHEN YOU GET THE OTHER 250 FROM THE ARP.

AND THEY ARE STILL THE COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANT FUNDS THAT, YOU KNOW, ONCE THE AGENT PULLS THAT TOGETHER, THAT DECISION THAT THEY DEAL WITH THIS AS WELL, DON'T KNOW FOR CERTAIN, BUT WE, WE ARE DEFINITELY WANTING TO PARTNER AND MAKE SURE THAT WE CAN GET AWAY.

THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM LOOKED LIKE IT WAS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, BUT THE HAC, THE ROOFING SYSTEM AND, UM, ACCESSIBILITY TO ALL THE PLUMBING FIXTURES WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED.

IT HAS TO BE ELEVATED HVC SYSTEM.

UM, UH, YOU KNOW, I'M NOT SURE, I THINK IT'S OKAY WHERE IT IS, RIGHT.
